Martyn Belben & Associates, Inc. is a full service firm of Public Insurance Adjusters, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, representing exclusively insured policyholders on property claims against their insurance company. Geographical area of operations covers the state of Florida.

When you retain our services, by signing a Contract which is required by Florida law, we take over the entire handling of your claim, and we shall immediately notify your insurance company that we represent you. We shall then make detailed notes of all the damage to your property, and using our state of the art resources, we shall prepare a complete Estimate of the costs of restoring your property to its original, pre-damage condition, based on general contractors’ prices. We shall submit this Estimate to your insurance company, together with documentation required by your policy. This Estimate and documentation will comprise your formal claim. We shall then negotiate a settlement with your insurance company, using all our technical knowledge and skills, but no final agreement will be made without consultation with you, and your full agreement.

For over forty years, we have routinely handled residential and commercial property claims, from those involving damage to small, single family homes to mansions; multi building condominium and apartment complexes, hotels and motels, office buildings and shopping centers, marinas and docks, and contractors construction and/or engineering projects, including work in progress, completed operations, and damage to plant and equipment. The value of these losses ranges from a few thousand dollars to the mega millions of dollars.

Policy coverage on these claims often involves not only physical damage, but also business interruption, loss of rentals and/or loss of use/earnings, extra expense, difference in conditions, etc.
